We are looking for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to join the group. We work with yeasts, which have small genomes and are perfect for the development of new techniques. Graduate students will train in bioinformatics, statistics and evolutionary biology. There is also potential for extending existing population genomic data sets with field sampling, or for occasional follow-up experiments in the laboratory.
If you are interested in joining the group, then please apply to the Bioinformatics or Plant Biology programs at the University of Georgia. Research and teaching assistantships include the cost of a stipend as well as tuition regardless of your country of origin. If you would like further information about the group, then please get in touch.
If you are interested in joining the group, then please send an email with a short description of your research interests, a summary of your bioinformatics experience, and a copy of your CV.
